At ADP Aluminium Systems, we recognise that sustainability is an important part of running a responsible and forward-thinking business. That’s why we’re continually looking for practical ways to reduce our environmental impact and encourage more sustainable choices across our operations.

Harnessing Solar Energy

One of the key steps we’ve taken is the installation of a 50kW solar panel system on the roof of our factory. By generating renewable energy on-site, we can reduce our reliance on traditional energy sources and help lower the carbon footprint associated with our day-to-day operations.

Improving Energy Efficiency

We’ve also introduced LED lighting throughout our building. LED lighting uses significantly less energy than traditional lighting and has a longer lifespan, helping us reduce both energy consumption and waste.

Supporting Greener Transport

Sustainability extends beyond our factory, which is why we’ve installed electric vehicle chargers for our fleet vehicles. As electric vehicles become an increasingly important part of the transition towards lower-carbon transport, we’re pleased to support their use within our business.

We’ve also introduced car sharing initiatives, encouraging local employees to share journeys where possible. For those who live nearby, we actively encourage walking to work — a simple change that can reduce emissions while also supporting healthier, more active lifestyles.

Building a More Sustainable Future

We understand that sustainability is an ongoing journey, and every practical step can make a difference. From renewable energy and energy-efficient lighting to greener transport and sustainable commuting, we’re committed to finding new ways to operate more responsibly.

At ADP Aluminium Systems, our aim is to continue reducing our environmental impact while building a more sustainable future for our business, our employees and the wider community.
